Background & Rationale

JIFS Women in Finance is an annual event that is geared to support and inspire women’s professional growth and development in the financial services industry.

This year’s session is scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel from 8:00am – 10:30 am.

The 2026 forum is our 7th staging and is designed to demonstrate that giving—through mentorship, collaboration, knowledge-sharing, innovation, and the intentional use of talent—is not just altruistic, but strategic. When women give intentionally, they gain stronger leadership presence, deeper professional fulfilment, institutional credibility, and measurable sector impact.

Under the theme “Give to Gain: Leading with Talent, Serving with Purpose,” the session will move beyond inspiration to application, using practical exercises, structured reflection, and peer engagement to embed the concept into daily professional practice.

Objectives

• Equip women in finance with strategies to leverage talents, brand, and influence through giving
• Demonstrate practical ways to mentor, collaborate, and share knowledge to produce gains for self and others
• Strengthen leadership effectiveness by linking giving to tangible professional outcomes
• Facilitate peer-to-peer engagement with action-oriented exercises
