The Jamaica Institute of Financial Services (JIFS) mandate is to ensure the professional development within the Financial SEctor.
JIFS COUNCIL
As set out in the Articles of Incorporation, the JIFS Council shall be representatives of the following corporate members:
- Corporate members which hold membership in the Jamaica Bankers Association, which members hall be represented by a human resource manager
- Regulators of banking and non-banking financing institutions which qualify for corporate membership
- Other entities within regulated by the Bank of Jamaica and/or the Financial Services Commission but not limited to: a. Jamaica Cooperative Credit Union League b. Building Societies Association of Jamaica c. Insurance Companies Association of Jamaica d. Jamaica Security Dealers Association
